View the DOT Info window (Edit-> DOT Info or View->
DOT info from the Start Up Screen).
Left click on the 'Options' button in the upper right to
view your settings.
Choose the desired driver group to audit and verify the
'DOT Hours Available' is set to 'Actual'.
Select the box labeled 'Filter By Log Exception' to view
only the drivers that will show an exception or violation.
Click 'Ok' to leave the Options window and return to the
On Board Information window.
The drivers displayed in the list on the left will be
drivers from the selected driver group that show an exception or
violation for the selected date.
Click on 'Previous Day' or change the 'DOT Log Date' to
view DOT logs from the previous day.
Left click on the driver name in the list to review the
driver's log.
View the hours calculations above the graph and the graph
itself to determine why this driver shows an exception or
violation. Left click 'View Violations' or 'View Recap' to see
more detail.
Edit the DOT log, if necessary. See the knowledge base
article titled 'Editing Driver DOT Information' for more details
on editing logs.
Continue reviewing and editing driver logs as necessary.
Follow up with drivers that
display multiple exceptions or violations to confirm they are
aware of correct log on and log off procedures.
Note: All edited DOT periods will
be displayed as dotted lines on printed DOT logs.
