Billing Types/Methods can be
specified when rating or billing a load and are used within the
Rate Load tab and the Billing Plane. It is best to add Billing
Types into the database prior to rating loads or using the Billing
Plane, but it is not required.
Examples of Billing Types may be:
By Hour, By Mile, Per Stop, etc.
From the top toolbar, click on the small down arrow next
to the icon labeled 'Setup'
Hover over 'Types', then click on 'Billing Types'
To add a new Billing Type, click on 'Add New' and enter
the description into the Billing Method text box.
Click 'Add New' to add another Billing Type, or left click
within the left hand section of the window to save your entry.
Newly created Billing Types will appear in the left hand
section of the window.
To edit an existing Billing Type, left click on the name
in the left hand section of the window, then modify the text in
the Billing Method text box on the right hand side of the window
accordingly.
Once all appropriate Billing Types have been entered or
edited, click on Close Plane.
