Task Types are used when adding a
specific task to a stop location of a load, in the Load Plane. It
is best to add Task Types into the database prior to creating
tasks, but it is not required.
'Return' and 'Delivery' are set up
as default Task Types within LoadTrek. Examples of Task Types are:
Pickup and Vehicle Inspection.
From the top toolbar, click on the small down arrow next
to the icon labeled 'Setup'
Hover over 'Types', then click on 'Task Types'
To add a new Task Type, click on 'Add New' and enter the
description into the Task Type text box.
Click 'Add New' to add another Task Type, or left click
within the left hand section of the window to save your entry.
Newly created Task Types will appear in the left hand
section of the window.
To edit an existing Task Type, left click on the name in
the left hand section of the window, then modify the text in the
Task Type text box on the right hand side of the window
accordingly.
Once all appropriate Task Types have been entered or
edited, click on Close Plane.
