Navigate to the On Board Information window. From the top
toolbar: Edit->DOT Info.
Select the appropriate date in the 'DOT Log Date' field
and click the 'Go' button.
Left click on the driver name to display the DOT log for
the selected date.
Left click the selection box labeled 'Allow Log Edit' at
the top of the window.
Insert a new DOT period by moving the
arrow cursor over the appropriate colored line. You will notice
the cursor change from an arrow to a cross and small blue numbers
will display indicating the position of the cursor in the 24 hour
graph. Right click at the desired time to display a window
listing DOT periods that differ from the existing period. Left
click on the name of the period you would like to insert. Ex:
Insert Not Driving
Delete a DOT period
by following step 5 above and choosing 'Delete Period'.
Delete multiple DOT periods by left
clicking and dragging while the mouse is located in the white
area of the DOT graph (not on a colored line). This will
highlight a section of the DOT graph with a blue background.
Next, right click within the highlighted area to display a window
listing edit options. Left click on the text labeled 'Delete DOT
Periods'. You will be prompted with a pop up message asking to
confirm your actions. Answer 'Yes' to continue or 'No' to return
to the graph without deleting the highlighted periods.
Synchronize a driver DOT log to a vehicle DOT log
by displaying the vehicle DOT on the graph. This is done
by clicking the selection box labeled 'Vehicle DOT', choosing the
appropriate vehicle and clicking the 'Go' button. Next, left
click and drag while the mouse is located in the white area of
the DOT graph (not on a colored line). This will highlight a
section of the DOT graph with a blue background. Be sure to
highlight only the portion of the graph you would like to match
up to the vehicle DOT for the specified driver. Next, right
click within the highlighted area to display a window listing
edit options. Left click on the text labeled 'Synchronize DOT'.
You will be prompted with a pop up message asking to confirm your
actions. Answer 'Yes' to continue or 'No' to return to the graph
without performing the driver-vehicle DOT synchronization.
All edited DOT periods will be displayed as dotted lines
on printed DOT logs.
