of expedited freight forwarders and provides exception handling capabilities for
customized delivery plans. The process
starts with a generated pickup order including size, weight, service levels and
multiple tariffs. This information
helps rate the shipment and determine necessary equipment type.
Order is then available for load planning throughout the supply chain up
to the final delivery.
Scanning standard shipments at each transition point creates a tracking trail available
to dispatchers in the software and to customers on line.
Critical shipments provide a further tracking resolution with updates on
shipment location at five minute intervals and optional cell phone notifications.
